If you're curious about which Copic colors I used and the die cuts for the "hi dad!" letters, you can find the info on my blog.

Sand Castle Owen

Hi everyone it's Kelly and I wanted to share my project today that I made using Sand Castle Owen.  This is a 6x6 page for my daughter's project life album and so there is no back, I used a glitz yours truly paper stack and a few K&company embellishments along with my copics to create this little layout.  I am very happy with it and if you are looking for this image head over to the Paper Nest dolls shop to find him for your summer projects.

Love Birds Wedding

Happy Monday, Doll fans! Ashley here today to share with you a card I made using the Love Birds Wedding Digital Stamp:

I used papers from Dear Lizzy's "Neapolitan" collection and distressed the edges. I embellished the cards with pearls, crinkle ribbon, a small sentiment from the paper collection, and the 'Congrats' stamp, which is a Close to My Heart stamp.

I colored the stamp with the following Copics:

Birds - Y11, Y13
Stand - E70, E74, E79, W3
Trellis - R21, R22, R24, YG03

This would be a great stamp to use on those handmade wedding cards this wedding season! You can find it here in our store.

Have a great day!

Make a Fun Page Layout with Several Doll Images!

Hello Crafters!

It's Valerie here today, and I'd like to show you how fun it is to create a scene with several of the adorable images that we carry. When I work with the PND images, I always see my own kids in them, from yesterday and today.

I have SOOOO many beach pics, and how many times can you scrapbook a pile of pics from a beach day? So, I took 3 of the beach images, Bikini Ellie, Boogie Board Owen, and Sandcastle Owen, and created a fun little beach scene; and of course, the images represent my 4 kids: Alicia (15), Nathan (13), and my twins, Connor & Derek (11).

- I mirrored the Boogie Board Owen image on the second one I printed
- I printed Sandcastle Owen 3 times so I'd have extra castles, flags, & starfish to play with on my layout

If you're curious what my munckins look like, it's funny, because they look like these PND images! If you're really curious, head over to my blog to see a photo of all 4 of them; you'll see - it's weird how closely these images resemble my kids. lol!

Have a great day, and have fun looking through all the fun stamps images to see which ones you can you for your kids!

Valerie :)

Super Sweet Lemonade

One of the most refreshing parts of summer is ice cold lemonade! Which is exactly what little Avery is serving up in this adorable Lemonade Stand stamp. :)

I used papers from the My Mind's Eye Quilting Bee collection and embellished with flowers, pearls, and some bunting from Heidi Swapp. I also distressed the edges of the papers and added Distress Ink to give them more of a shabby look. The "So Super Sweet" sentiment is from Whimsical Designs.

I colored the stamp with the following Copic markers:

You can purchase the digital and rubber versions of Lemonade Stand here in our store!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Bow, Button, Ribbon Tutorial

Hello Y'all its Loriann here
I put together a quick ribbon tying tutorial that I use
on my projects.
Please bear with me this is my first tutorial.

Step 1 -
Materials: 2 - 3" long pieces of thicker ribbon
1 bow tied ribbon (smaller thickness.)
Button and Crochet thread
(or small thickness thread)

Step 2 - After looping ribbon through the button,
tie it to the backside of your thinner ribbon,
 leaving the excess.

Step 3 - Flip your bow over on-top of the
criss-crossed thicker ribbon and
flip it over to tie another knot.

Step 4 - Use light, but firm pressure as you
tie the back knot to ensure the criss-crossed
ribbon doesn't pull to one side.

This is a view of what it will look like in the front...
evenly cut the ribbon tails and still leave
the long thread to attach it to your card.

Final step: Punch two holes
(I used the 1/8" SU hand punch) and then tie the tails
of the thread through these holes and tie
a knot on the inside of your card.
You can also use 2 strips of ribbon instead of
another bow.

Here is the card completed using Dandelion Wishes

I hope that explains how I tie this type of ribbon!
If you have questions or any
other tutorial suggestions, just let me know!
Thankyou for stopping by.
