Party Time!

Hello! Can you believe that it's 2017?!? The years seem to be flying by. I, for one, am ready for 2016 to be over with.

For my project today I used Party Girl Avery. I surrounded her with balloons, stars, and 2017.

I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the card, envelop and the embellishments.

The Card In A Box flattens for easy mailing.

I colored her with Copic markers and cut her out with my brand new Brother Cut'N Scan 2! (It was an early Christmas gift from my husband)

I use floral wire and hot glue to add the embellishments. I like the floral wire because I can bend the wire to perfectly place the embellishments.

And here's a close up...

Thank you all for stopping by. I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday season.
Hugs,

Ms. Snowman Avery Card Share

Hello friends,  thanks for stopping by.  Today I have a card share using The PaperNest Dolls  digital Snowman Avery image.  I'm still working on Christmas cards,  I can finally see the light lol.  On to my card, I found an old DCWV  Christmas paper stack in my stash so I decided to  use it to create this card. I colored Ms. Snowman Avery with my copics after printing the image out on X-press It Blend card stock.
Copic Colors I used:
Skin: E18, 15, 13, 11
Hair: E27, 25, 23, 21
Green: YG67, 17, 25
Red: R59, 29, 24
Black: C9, 7, 5, 3,1

I added a snowflake border and postage die cut from my stash as well.  Check out The Papernest  Dolls website for this and other cute digital/rubber stamp images.   Well that's all for now, thanks for stopping by.

Peppermint Princess Emma Christmas Card

EEEEKKK! Christmas is just around the corner. I still have so much to do!
Baking cookies, finish shopping, stuffing stockings, wrapping presents, send out Christmas cards...OH MY! If only I could slow time down a bit or maybe get a personal assistant to help.

Speaking of Christmas cards. I have a super cute one to share with you today using Peppermint Princess Emma

Isn't she darling!?! I love her hair style.

I colored Peppermint Princess Emma with my favorite coloring meduim...Copic markers. I was a little nervous about using so much red. I don't know why, but red is a hard color for me. It never really looks good to me. I was happy with how this turned out though.

I found these tiny little Christmas ornaments in the dollar section at Target. They are adorable! And perfect for crafting. I have used them on a couple crafts already this season.

Turquoise and red are not colors that I usually put together, but I have to say I'm loving it. I like working with non traditional Christmas color combos.

Thank you for popping in for a visit. Hope you all have a craftastic day!
Hugs,
                             Tina Goodwin DT

Santa Ellie with Gift

Happy Monday crafty friends, thanks for stopping by.  Raquel here and today I have a Christmas project to share with you using Santa Ellie with Gift digital stamp.  Christmas is just around the corner, so I am working on my Christmas projects feverishly before time runs out.  One of the items I love to alter are gift bags.  They are really inexpensive and you can use the items you have in your stash to really decorate it up.   I picked up this cute gift bag from my local craft store.  I decided to use some graphic 45 Christmas paper  called 12 days of Christmas that I've had in my stash for quite some time.  This paper stack is an older collection but I love the colors in this collection.  I colored Santa Ellie with my copics on x-press-it blend cardstock.

Copic Colors used:
Skin: E15, 13,11
Hair: C9, C7,C5, C3
Red: R59, 35, 27, 24
Green: G28, 26, 24

I added some frontage around the image.  I then added the small ornate border and the Merry Christmas sentiment which are dies from my stash.   The flowers are from prima's Victorian Christmas collection.  All that is left is to add a gift and a tag for the recipient.  Check out The Papernest Dolls store for this and other cute images you can use on your projects.  I hope this gives you some inspiration for your holiday projects.  Thanks for stopping by!
